Pigeon Point Lighthouse
Pigeon Point Lighthouse is located on the Californian coast on highway 1 about an hour south of San Francisco. After many shipwrecks and much loss of life it was built in 1872. It was one of the most powerful lighthouses of its time with a light that would pierce through the fog and could be seen seventeen to twenty-two miles out to sea. It was built with over half a million locally made bricks and stands 115 feet tall. Today it stands as a reminder to all of us to make a difference in our world. "That ye may be blameless and harmless the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world." Philippians 2:15. These are available as 4.25 x 5.5 notecards and 5.5 x 8.5 greeting cards with envelopes. They are also available as canvas, signed, high quality open edition.
