Paul C. Dennis

I am 49 years old, married with three children, two girls 23 and 16 and a boy 18. I am spiritual but not religious though I feel god is with me. I am a woodcarver and make walking sticks and canes that I call WoodWalkers™.  I use only recycled or recovered wood picking up tree branches wherever I find them and shape them as the staves seem fit to tell me. I don't really consider myself an artist but I do consider my WoodWalkers™ practical art.

I am disabled due to back injury so that gives me time to continue my passion but it does slow me down a bit. When shaping my WoodWalkers™ I feel at peace but need to recoup because sometimes I will work two full days without realizing it until my wife comes to fetch me for food, rest and recharging.
